I don't believe there is any other culture that is so intrinsically tied to food as 
the Chinese. After all, the phrase frequently used to describe the Chinese family style of eating, "Do you want to eat Chinese?" extends to all types of cuisine, in which everyone shares all of the dishes. The central room of the house is typically the kitchen, and the first thing you will be asked is, "Have you eaten?" when you enter a Chinese home.I am finally creating this blog as a way of keeping up with all of the new restaurants in the bay area, as well as giving accollades to the tried and true. It's also much easier than creating a list for anyone that asks me, "What is the best Sushi restaurant?".
